Easter - A Little Behind

Day one: We went to Duncanville to play with Marian's family. The kiddos had a great time together playing golf, riding in cars, pushing mowers, playing trains. You name it, they probably did it. Austin did not make it very far before falling asleep on the way home.

Day two: Austin's first Easter egg hunt. He did a great job putting the eggs in his basket.

Day three: We hung out with Dean's family and celebrated Aunt Susan's and GranPapa's birthdays and GranMama and Granpapa's anniversary. Austin had his first ride in a golf cart and enjoyed playing with his Easter pail and shovel. Austin ate every drop of his dinner that night and then proceeded to fall asleep in the highchair. That's what three days without your normal naps will do to a little guy. Sweet dreams Austin.

On The Road

We went to Houston this past weekend for our nephew Nathaniel's baptism. We stopped for lunch and let Austin eat in the front seat so that he could move around. He loves pushing the buttons and walking back and forth between the driver and passenger. We figured this was better than being cooped up in a highchair.

We were amusing Austin as we waited for lunch. He loves to "drive" the car. I just love these boys.

Teddy Bear Thursday (on a Monday) - 13 Months

Thirteen months. Our little guy is growing up too fast. He is always so happy and brings so much joy to our lives. We love you Austin.

Teddy Bear Thursday Update

What a year this has been. Thanks to our Teddy Bear friend for helping us document Austin's growth. We are going to continue taking Teddy Bear pictures, but it will now be a monthly thing.

Week one and week fifty-two. Our little guy is growing up so fast!

Happy First Birthday!

Happy Birthday to our big boy! Thank you to everyone that celebrated with us. Austin had a wonderful time and it was great to see our family and friends.

One Year Check Up

Austin had his one year check up today and everything is looking good. Here he is waiting to see the doctor. Little does he know that he is getting two shots and has to give a blood sample. He handled it like a pro.

He is now 30 in (59%), 21 lbs 8 oz (31%) and his head is 19 in (93%). Sorry about the big noggin kiddo.

March Madness

What a difference a year makes. Both of these pictures were taken during March Madness, above is Austin's very first experience with "The Big Dance" and below is Austin enoying boy time and watching some basketball with Dad.Our friends Josh and Stacy came over to enjoy some March Madness action. They brought their new puppy, Kona, to enjoy some puppy playtime. Austin and Sunny loved Kona and hopes that she can come back real soon.

Visit to Houston

We took a trip to Houston to meet Austin's new cousin Nathaniel. Here are Marian, Austin, Amanda and Nathaniel in the garden.
