Teddy Bear Thursday - Week 1

Every Thursday we are going to try to take a picture of Austin with the giant teddy bear given to him by Aunt Amanda and Uncle Jon. We are going to use it to track his growth. So here is Austin at one week old with the giant bear.

Coming Home Party

Aunt Susan had the house decorated as we made our way home on the 21st. And Sunny was very interested in meeting her new little brother. Here are photos and a quick video of the trip home from the hospital.

My First Longhorns Game

Dad and Austin watching his first Longhorns basketball game together. The Horns beat Minnesota in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Basketball Tournament. How appropriate that he was born on the first day of the tournament!?

Just after the little guy was born. Marian pushed for over two hours and so obviously she was exhausted!

Shows What We Know

We thought our little person would be born later than the due date of March 20th. Shows what we know. We proudly present Austin Riley Yates, born Thursday, March 19th, at 9:23 a.m. in Plano, Texas. At birth he was 8 lbs 2 oz and was almost 21 inches long. More pictures to come.

Due Date Approaches

March 20th is the due date, so it could be sooner or later than that. We both think it will be later. Who knows? Photos to come upon the arrival of Baby Yates.
