State Fair of Texas

Our first family trip to the State Fair. Austin had to watch us eating corndogs, maybe next year he can have one of his own.
Austin met Big Tex and heard him talk to the crowds. Big Tex was reminding everyone to wash their hands before they ate. It is interesting how the times even affect Big Tex.
GranMaMa and GranPaPa joined us on our adventure to the fair.

What a Difference a Week Makes

Austin is much more enthusiastic about eating now. He loves his spoon and wants to help feed himself.
Here he is eating sweet potatoes and seems to be enjoying them, as long as there aren't any chunks.

Weekend Away

We got away this weekend to Hot Springs, Arkansas while GranMaMa and GranPaPa took care of Austin for us. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our time together. We stayed at Lookout Point Bed & Breakfast. It was so relaxing and peaceful.
Pictures from Garvan Woodland Gardens. This was a great place to walk and simply enjoy being outside.
Our one and only picture of the two of us from the weekend.
