Teddy Bear Thursday - 52 Weeks

Fifty-two weeks.  Somewhere I missed a week.  Sorry Katie.  

Katie is now walking with a little support and on her own when she wants to.  She is blowing bubbles, talking more and more, pointing at everything and climbing.  We love to see her smile and giggle.  She is such a sweet little girl.  

Katie is now 30 in and 21 lbs 1 oz.  She is almost the exact same size that Austin was when he was one.  She is only a few ounces smaller, but same height.

Teddy Bear Thursday - 49 & 50 Weeks

Forty-nine weeks. Katie is showing more and more personality everyday. Our favorite right now is her laugh where she sticks our her tongue and kind of coughs and laughs at the same time. She is also imitating noises that we make. It is too funny.

Fifty weeks. We have an ongoing game of monkey see, monkey do at our house. Austin and Katie like to take turns being the leader. In this picture Austin is making a face at Katie and then laughing. I caught her in mid laugh. Wish you could see the whole interaction.

Teddy Bear Thursday - 48 Weeks

Forty-eight weeks. Katie is just chillin with the bear. She is so funny about these pictures. We bring the bear in, she just crawls right up to him and lays back. Ready for my photo shoot mom.

Crinkle nose. Wish you could hear the noise that goes along with this face.

Getting to be such a big girl. She is taking a few steps on her own. She will be walking soon.

Forty-six weeks. We don't have an official Teddy Bear Thursday picture, but these pictures are from Katie's forty-sixth week. She loves to help empty the silverware tray. She takes them out one at a time and holds them up, so proud to be a big helper.

Teddy Bear Thursday - 44 Weeks

Forty-four weeks. Here is our sweet baby asking for a high five. She loves giving high fives especially to Austin at the dinner table. She is starting to blow kisses now too. This week she has figured out light switches and wants to touch them any chance she can get.

She is eating more and more these days. Here she is with avocado, cheese and veggie sticks. She is doing a great job with finger foods and mashing them up. She now has six teeth.

Katie and Big Brother. They are quite the pair.

Forty-three weeks and still smiling.

Katie is a lover. She snuggles in and is giving a ton of hugs right now.

Bear was lucky enough to receive one.

Teddy Bear Thursday - 42 Weeks

Forty-two weeks. Katie has decided that she does not like bows anymore.

It was nice while it lasted.

She went to the doctor for her nine month check-up(delayed because of an ear infection) and this is what her numbers say now: 19 lbs and 28.5 in.

Here is sweet Austin.

He went to the doctor with us and his numbers are now: 34 lbs and 40 inches.

This is the dynamic duo, Super Bunny and Zoom Zoom. Here to save the day!

Teddy Bear Thursday - 41 Weeks

Forty-one weeks.

Katie is learning to high five. She puts her hand up in the air and just waits for someone to high five her. One high five is usually not enough. Her hand stays in the air for quite awhile.

Teddy Bear Thursday - 40 Weeks

Forty weeks. Katie is now nine months. We love her bright eyes and playful personality. She is so much fun to watch. She loves to dance, wave hello (on her own terms), play outside and she is starting to high five.

Check out her new top teeth. She now has four teeth.

Teddy Bear Thursday - 39 Weeks

Thirty-nine weeks. Katie is getting ready to walk. She is pulling up on everything, transferring from one object to another without going to the ground first, letting go and not falling for at least 10 seconds and walking around the coffee table, while holding on of course. Watch out world.

Thirty-eight weeks. This week's picture was taken in Baytown, TX with Katie's PaPa. PaPa is Katie's great-grandfather, Dean's grandfather. We had a great visit and really enjoyed our time together.

Teddy Bear Thursday - 37 Weeks

Thirty-seven weeks. This job is getting harder. Katie does not want to sit still for anything. Here are a few of the attempts that I got along the way to our final picture. I am going to have to come up with a different plan for next time.

Either one of them was crawling away or it was both.

Hugs with Big Brother. She was actually enjoying this.

Mom says, "Austin, that's not a real smile, try laughing." And this is what mom gets.
